I just went to try the macha easily the best matcha I’ve had in the RGV! The flavor is so smooth and high-quality. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. New favorite spot!

I personally loved my matcha at Sip! I was so excited to try this place out because I saw that they use quality matcha from Kyoto, Japan and love to see cool places like Sip opening in the valley. It did not disappoint. Due to Sip recently opening and gaining a lot of attraction from social media, there was a longer wait which is understandable. I’m sure in a few weeks the wait time will be shorter. I think if you truly like matcha this is the place for you. As someone who likes my matcha sweetened, I thought it had the perfect balance between the earthy matcha taste and sweetness. It was also smooth and not grainy, which I loved. If anyone is complaining about it not being sweet, they don’t truly like matcha, in that case get a frap at Starbucks. I got the Lotus matcha with agave sweetener and oat milk. Really recommend!

I had an amazing experience at this matcha spot! The matcha was hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly smooth, rich in flavor, and not too sweet. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. Definitely coming back again. If you’re a matcha fan, this place is a must-try!

Best matcha in the valley. I can tell they use high quality matcha and ingredients. They weigh the matcha powder to get the best matcha/milk ratio. I saw the baristas whisk the matcha powder and take their time using proper techniques. The aesthetic is straight out of a Pinterest board. The price is fair for the quality of the products. This place is too far from where I live and I wish it was closer. I can’t wait for them to open a new location in McAllen or Mission and take online orders!!!

I have a great experience every time! The customer service is excellent, and everyone is friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The matcha is delicious. You can tell they put a lot of care into their drinks and customers. Highly recommend!!

I absolutely love Sip Matcha! I’ve been here a handful of times and have tried several of their drinks, my favorite so far is the Lotus Matcha. You can really tell the matcha is high quality just by the vibrant green color. 💚 The shop is small, cozy, and super cute, and the owner, Valerie, is incredibly sweet and welcoming. I really appreciate how she takes the time to explain the flavors and lets you know if a drink is already sweet or tart before you order. This spot has officially become my go-to matcha place. Highly recommend for any matcha lover!

One of my favorite matcha spots! Super cute atmosphere, high-quality matcha, and they’re constantly updating the menu with seasonal drinks so there’s always something new to try. Plus they let you adjust sweetness/milk to your preference.

I’m in town visiting friends and family. I’ve tried almost every matcha/ coffee shop in the valley and Sip Matcha is by far the best if you’re looking for a more traditional, strong matcha drink. I ordered a matcha latte and the sweetness, milk and matcha were all very well balanced.

Sip Matcha in Edinburg is fantastic! The mango matcha was perfectly balanced—sweet, smooth, and super refreshing. The atmosphere is minimal and cute, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I’ll definitely be back for another drink soon!
